We created the video for Maria Minerva's The Sound, taken from the album Will Happiness Find Me.
The video attempts to depict Maria in state of metaphysical limbo, being built by an unknown entity.
This video was a departure from Minerva's previous aesthetics and was built following several discussions with the artist on posthumanism and biopolitics. This departure was intended to compliment the new direction taken on her album released by Not Not Fun Records.
Principle photography on this video was provided by Mike Levitt.
Check out a brief interview here with James B Stringer of Werkflow from way back in 2012, about the creation of the video on the Fader.
