Werkflow x Kuedo at Sonic Acts 2017

Monday, 20 February 2017 by Jon Emmony

We're pleased to announce that we'll be performing our visuals live with Kuedo at Sonic Acts 2017 in Amsterdam, on Saturday 25th February, 19:30 - 04:00. We've been working with Jamie (Kuedo) on his live AV set for a while now, performing many shows throughout Europe. We'll be posting some more images and videos from the result of this collaboration soon.

Kuedo is the alias of Jamie Teasdale, formerly one half of Vex’d, whose 2005 album Degenerate re-wrote the UK bass rulebook. His most recent album Slow Knife is a deep, undulating dive into immersive filmscapes and impressionistic narration, with growling cellos bleeding into anime-like synth scores. He is also the co-founder of art and music imprint Knives, helping artists like Jlin and J.G. Biberkopf find debut acclaim. These roads have converged into the creation of an AV live show in collaboration with visual arts studio Werkflow, who create real-time 3D environments using next-gen game engine technology, to complement Kuedo’s celebrated production style, which remains anterior to modern dance and electronic music. - Sonic Acts.
